As a Candidate Development Specialist, you will support clinical research talent acquisition by building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline of qualified candidates through strategic sourcing initiatives. This position plays a key role in identifying top talent, conducting candidate outreach, and ensuring a steady flow of qualified applicants to support our clinical research operations. You'll collaborate with Recruitment Managers and talent acquisition teams, leverage industry-standard sourcing channels and tools, and contribute to our recruitment success from initial sourcing through candidate placement.\nResponsibilities include identifying and engaging qualified candidates through diverse sourcing channels, building professional networks within the clinical research community, and maintaining organized candidate pipelines. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, the Candidate Development Specialist can explore career paths and expand skills across talent acquisition and clinical research operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate target lists to identify competitors and potential candidates, generating interest in available roles and client companies.\nConduct active phone-based outreach and candidate screenings to assess qualifications and fit for open positions.\nUtilize networking opportunities including community groups and professional associations to identify and engage qualified candidate referrals.\nActively manage candidate pipelines, accurately disposition applicants, and maintain detailed records in database systems.\nMaintain job board postings and social media recruitment channels to maximize candidate visibility and engagement.\nSupport talent community development and volume communication initiatives including recruitment drives and email campaigns in collaboration with talent acquisition managers.\nIdentify user groups and professional associations relevant to clinical research that can help generate qualified candidates.\nProvide sourcing results and recruitment metrics in reportable formats to support data-driven decision making.\nPerform administrative tasks as required to support recruitment operations.\nCandidate Profile\nYou'll thrive in this role if you bring:\nStrong research acumen, critical thinking, and ability to identify qualified talent.\nExperience working in clinical research, pharmaceutical, or contract research organization (CRO) environments.\nProven ability to build and maintain professional relationships and strong team collaboration skills.\nWillingness to take accountability for high levels of phone-based outreach and frequent candidate interaction.\nExcellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills and problem solving skills.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, internet-based tools, and database applications.\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of experience in a sourcing role.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\nProficiency with job boards, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems.\nIf this job doesn't sound like the next step in your career, but perhaps you know of someone who'd be a perfect fit, send them the link to apply!\nWe believe in flexibility, growth, and creating space for people to do their best work.
