supported database systems (Oracle 10g–19c, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server).\n\nPerform database and schema refresh operations using native tools (e.g., Oracle exp/imp, Expdp/Impdp; pgdump/pgrestore; SQL Server backup/restore).\n\nImplement database change orders according to established schedules and procedures.\n\nMonitor database performance and availability using platform-specific tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, pgAdmin, SSMS).\n\nDocument database policies, procedures, and standards for organizational compliance.\n\nBackup, Recovery, and Performance Management:\nExecute backup, restore, and recovery operations using RMAN (Oracle), pgBackRest/Barman (PostgreSQL), or native SQL Server tools.\n\nPerform SQL tuning and indexing strategies to optimize query performance.\n\nUtilize performance monitoring tools such as AWR/ADDM (Oracle), pgstatstatements (PostgreSQL), or SQL Profiler (SQL Server).\n\nTroubleshoot database and performance issues to minimize system downtime.\n\nMaintain and support standby or high-availability configurations for disaster recovery.\n\nInfrastructure Support and Collaboration:\nAdminister platform-specific technologies such as Oracle ASM/RAC, PostgreSQL replication, or SQL Server Always on Availability Groups.\n\nPerform basic system administration tasks on UNIX/Linux (Oracle/PostgreSQL) or Windows Server (SQL Server).\n\nCoordinate with system administrators, network teams, and backup teams as required.\n\nParticipate in project meetings to provide database perspective and technical input.\n\nSupport clinical research applications through reliable and secure database infrastructure.\n\nSystem Integration and Technical Support\nCollaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems with enterprise applications.\n\nProvide technical expertise for database-related aspects of system implementations and migrations.\n\nMaintain database security and access controls in accordance with organizational policies.\n\nSupport application teams with database connectivity and performance issues.\n\nEnsure database systems meet availability and compliance requirements for clinical research operations.\n\nSkills\n\nProficiency in one of the following: Oracle RDBMS (10g–19c), PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.\n\nExperience with monitoring and management tools relevant to the supported platform.\n\nKnowledge of backup and recovery procedures using platform-specific tools.\n\nExpertise in SQL tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.\n\nFamiliarity with
