As a Senior Salesforce Functional Analyst, you will turn business needs into Salesforce solutions that help our teams manage the client relationships, proposals, and contracts that make clinical research possible. This position plays a key role in requirements gathering, solution design, user acceptance testing, and process improvement, ensuring that every change serves the people who use it.\nYou will collaborate with project managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and business stakeholders, work within Agile methodologies, and contribute from initial requirements through implementation. With diverse teams and continuous learning opportunities, the Salesforce Business Analyst can explore career paths and expand skills across the Salesforce platform, Agile delivery, and the clinical research business.\nKey Responsibilities\nRequirements Gathering and Analysis: Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business requirements. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to communicate requirements clearly to technical teams, and create Visio flows that document new and existing business processes and functionality\nSolution Design: Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive solution designs that leverage Salesforce capabilities to meet business objectives. Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce features and third-party applications to enhance business processes\n User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Develop UAT plans and test scenarios, and support business stakeholders with test data creation, training, and demos. Analyze UAT results and work with development teams to address any issues\nSalesforce Configuration: Administer a range of declarative solutions in support of sprint work and resolve production issues when needed. Implement and maintain Salesforce configurations that support business requirements\nProcess Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization using Salesforce capabilities. Propose and design process improvements that increase efficiency and user adoption\nCollaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to align business needs with technical solutions. Facilitate communication between IT and business units, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide regular updates on project progress\nChange Management: Develop and execute change management strategies that support smooth adoption of new Salesforce features and processes. Create training materials and conduct user training sessions as needed\nContinuous Improvement: Stay current on the latest Salesforce releases and features, assessing their potential impact and benefits for the organization. Proactively suggest improvements to business processes and Salesforce utilization, and mentor junior team members in Salesforce business analysis practices and methodologies\nYou'll thrive in this role if you bring:\nStrengths in business analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable Salesforce solutions\nA proven track record of providing exceptional customer service to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite leaders, and managing production issues with meticulous attention to detail\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and facilitate decisions across diverse stakeholder groups\nComfort working with Salesforce declarative tools, Agile methodologies, and tools such as Jira and Visio\nA proactive mindset, a bias for action, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adapting readily to changing priorities\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nSalesforce Administrator Certification\n5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a strong focus on business analysis and solution design\nStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and business processes, and of the Salesforce security model and best practices\nUnderstanding of the full sales cycle, from lead generation and request for proposal through the contract lifecycle\nDemonstrated experience delivering Salesforce projects from conception to implementation\nAbility to design and implement solutions using Salesforce declarative tools, such as Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes\nExperience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments, including tools such as Jira\nProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Visio\nFamiliarity with API testing tools and techniques\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills\nAbility to work in shifts from 5 PM to 2 AM or 6 PM to 3 AM IST and provide support on weekend releases\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in healthcare, clinical development, or a related field\nSalesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification\nWe believe in flexibility, growth, and creating space for people to do their best work.
