Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with proven experience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.\nParkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.\nResponsibilities\nLeadership and management of engineers and technicians.\nTechnical supervision and design capabilities in the areas of pavement, utilities, grading, site elements, and drainage.\nClient development and management, including successful relationships, financial accounting, and responsiveness.\nFamiliarity with local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other design criteria.\nManage demands of in-house and external surveying support.\nCommunity involvement including active participation and seeking leadership roles in civic, technical, and professional organizations.\nDevelops proposals, scopes, fees, and tracking performance.\nDevelopment and maintenance of relationships with City departments.\nPresentations at hearings, Commissions, and Council meetings.\nProject types to include:\nSite Design for Office, Retail, Industrial, and Institutional Buildings\nResidential Subdivisions from Land Acquisition to Finished Lots\nMunicipal Roadway, Drainage, and Planning projects\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering required.\nProfessional engineer registration in Texas.\nMinimum 6 years of experience in the types of responsibilities listed above.\nAdditional desirable experience would include:\nExperience including plans production and management of the following tasks:Experience with entitlements such as Platting, Zoning, and Municipal Permitting\nExperience with Site Planning and Development Master Planning\nGrading and Drainage Design\nStreet and Alley Design\nSite Design\nWater and Wastewater Design\nHydrology and Hydraulics Analysis and Design\nGeneral Civil Design\nConstruction Management\nSoftware including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.\nSWP3s\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.\nMust be able to attend City Council/client meetings as needed.\nBenefits and Perks\nWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
