Our success is driven by talented people who take pride in designing industry-leading solutions.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Project Engineer, Mechanical, you’ll lead the technical and engineering execution of projects while maintaining accountability for performance, cost, and delivery. Key responsibilities include:\nProject & Technical Leadership\nOversee all technical aspects of engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and business objectives\nLead mechanical design and analysis efforts with a focus on machine structures, gearboxes, rails, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics\nCoordinate cross-functional teams to identify and implement designs that provide product differentiation and competitive advantage\nDesign, Analysis & Reviews\nFacilitate concept and design reviews to ensure appropriate input and alignment across impacted stakeholders\nApply engineering fundamentals, analysis tools, and best practices to support robust, manufacturable designs\nUtilize simulation, FEA, root cause analysis, DFMEA, and other tools to support design decisions and issue resolution\nProject Planning & Metrics\nDevelop and manage project schedules, product costs, budgets, and key performance metrics to meet overall business requirements\nTrack progress and proactively address risks or technical challenges that could impact scope, timeline, or cost\nCustomer & Cross-Functional Support\nSupport customer service, field installation, and sales teams through training and technical expertise as needed\nProvide timely resolution of customer issues and collaborate with Manufacturing and Sourcing to support production and cost objectives\nExperience & Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)\nMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)\nExperience\n10+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience (required)\n2+ years of project leadership or project ownership experience (preferred)\nExperience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)\nExperience designing CNC, robotic, or similarly complex machinery (preferred)\nFamiliarity with ERP/JDE systems (preferred)\nTravel\nAbility to travel up to 10%\nAs a Project Engineer, Mechanical at Park Industries, you'll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines travel and remote work flexibility with onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office.\nWhat You Bring\nAdvanced experience with 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD / Inventor preferred)\nStrong analytical skills, including mechanical analysis, hand calculations, and FEA\nKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design\nProficiency with GD&T and tolerance stack-ups\nStrong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions, present technical concepts, and collaborate cross-functionally\nA proactive, results-driven mindset with attention to detail and accountability\nWhy Join Us\nWe offer a competitive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k), HSA and FSA options, tuition reimbursement, and more-along with opportunities to grow your technical and project leadership career. Please note that the range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift.
