backend services that power Parker’s financial products and APIs.\n\nLead architectural decisions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across our systems.\n\nBuild and maintain services in a modern cloud-native environment (Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)\n\nPartner with product and infrastructure teams to design secure, intuitive APIs and data models.\n\nDrive engineering excellence through code reviews, technical mentorship, and architectural guidance.\n\nIdentify performance bottlenecks and lead initiatives to improve reliability, observability, and system design.\n\nContribute to the evolution of Parker’s technical roadmap and long-term engineering vision.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.\n\nProven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems in production.\n\nStrong proficiency with Node.js and Typescript (or comparable backend languages such as Go, Java, or Python).\n\nExperience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), Docker, and Kubernetes.\n\nFamiliarity with GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.\n\nSolid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.\n\nWho You Are:\nA technical leader who thrives in
