We are seeking individuals who desire to use their unique skills to innovate and make an impact.\nThe Front Desk Assistant professionally serves the clinic patients and the interns.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nRegister Arriving Patients per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure Manual\n\nChecking out of Departing Patients per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure Manual\n\nPatient File Management per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure Manual\n\nCheck Out and Check In of PT equipment and supplies per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure Manual\n\nClinic Receptionist per detailed instructions in the Clinic Office Procedure Manual\n\nVarious Duties:\nMaintain Inventory\n\nNew Patient Files\n\nPatient File Forms\n\nOffice Supplies\n\nPatient file copying\n\nShift deposit\n\nObtain and Sort Mail\n\nInsurance verification\n\nAnswering phones using appropriate scripts\n\nPatient Transfer Card data entry\n\nLaunder gowns and towels\n\nMaintain an orderly work area\n\nOther assignments that may be requested, from time to time, by the Clinic Operations Manager.\n\nMaintain strict confidentiality regarding information that is learned through this department following all HIPAA guidelines.\n\nUnderstand that fraternization with students/interns is strictly prohibited.\n\nWHAT YOU WILL NEED:\nEDUCATION/EXPERTISE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nA minimum of six (6) months general office/customer service experience.\n\nBilingual preferred\n\nJOB REQUIREMENT/SKILL/ETC.:\nGood English grammar, spelling and punctuation skills;\n\nGood verbal and written communication skills;\n\nProven outstanding job attendance.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nVisual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal.
