$90,000 depending on experience.\nSummary/Objective\nThis position is accountable for overseeing the operations of funeral home and/or cemetery location(s) to ensure the expectations of client families and their guest are exceeded.\nEssential Functions\nOversees the management of resources and day-to-day operations.\nEstablishes a financial plan and ensure goals and objectives are met each year.\nAnalyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine location progress toward goals and objectives.\nUnderstands and monitors compliance of Federal, state and local laws and regulations for operation of a cemetery, cemetery sales, crematory and funeral home.\nDevelops and monitors quality relationships with suppliers in order to ensure that products and services offered to the business add value to client family satisfaction and market share growth.\nEnsures that all business operation permits are current and applied for in a timely manner.\nMonitors and manage financial results in a manner that meets or exceeds standards.\nPrepares and manages capital requests and expenditures.\nProvides a high level of coaching, mentoring and development to department heads and location staff.\nEnsures that family survey and family service follow up calls are completed.\nInspections of all facilities, grounds and locations to ensure all are maintained to standards.\nDevelops and implement marketing plans to expand exposure of the location in the community.\nSponsors on-site community events that promote the business to the community.\nDevelops relationships with community businesses and leaders.\nAssists direct reports with setting and meeting their goals.\nEncourages the development of new service offerings.\nPerforms projects and other duties as assigned.\nCompetencies\nCommunication Proficiency.\nTeamwork Orientation.\nDetail Orientation.\nThoroughness.\nCustomer Service Orientation.\nTime Management.\nRequired Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure\nFour-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.\nBachelor’s degree strongly preferred.\nCemetery management experience desired\nExperience with analyzing finance reports to determine actions to maintain and/or improve the location’s performance strongly preferred.\nValid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.\nAdditional Eligibility Qualifications\nAttend and perform work in a professional and courteous manner in accordance with the employer’s requirements.\nDemonstrated willingness to participate in growing market share through community involvement.\nAble to read, write and speak English fluently.
