Job Summary:
Under the leadership of the Manager Physician Recruitment, the Provider Onboarding Coordinator is directly responsible and accountable for coordinating and supporting every day functions of the new PPG provider onboarding process. Is responsible for coordinating and overseeing PPG New Provider Orientation tasks and duties as requested. Supports the Onboarding team with projects as needed.
Education:
Associate's degree or knowledge and skills gained in a health care related field to be comparably qualified.
License & Cert:

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in provider credentialing, provider relations or related healthcare experience. Experience in a healthcare environment is required.
Other Qualifications:
Exceptional skills for working in in a team environment and communicating with all providers, hospital administrators, Medical Directors, Physician Executives and Practice Managers. Extensive knowledge of principals and practice of onboarding new providers including but not limited to: report preparation, creation of spreadsheets, database information input and maintenance. Extensive knowledge of windows operating system software including but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Power Point, etc.
