We are headquartered in Hollywood, MD, with a great team, well-established product lines, and a growing client base.\nWe are seeking a seasoned Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to work as a member of the Product Engineering Team to develop hardware-based product solutions focused on radio frequency and related telecommunications technologies.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign the radio frequency electronic circuits needed to support our RF applications from initial development through product maintenance\nProvide the RF circuit design, develop layout of the circuit board, and debug and troubleshoot issues\nInteract with the other members of the hardware team, including the non-RF electronics, embedded software, and system testing functions. Develop RF board-level circuit designs in the P, L, S, and C band ranges\nDirect layout of RF circuit designs for PCB assembly Work with contract printed circuit board (PCB) assembly manufacturers and component suppliers\nWork with embedded controls software and systems development groups through the development phase Support customer engagement, specification and design review meetings Bench marking of alternate and competitive designs\nSkills:\nDemonstrated excellence in RF circuit performance parameters including S-parameter analysis, DC analog and digital design, analysis and simulation\nCompetent in the use of electronic tools (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.)\nExperience applying principles of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) / electromagnetic interference (EMI)\nExperience with microprocessors for embedded applications\nGood circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to work independently and creatively, while collaborating closely with a diverse team of technical experts and business professionals\nAbility to manage time and commitments within a framework of competing priorities\nGood communications skills, both written and oral\nDesired Experience:\nKnowledge of surface mount electrical component and PCB fabrication and assembly techniques and technical standards such as Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) / Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA)\nUnderstanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) / Design for Test (DFT) principles\nToolsets:\nProficiency using Cadence PCB software design tools\nFamiliarity with Cadence AWR Microwave Office RF design suite or equivalent\nProficiency with classic HW / RF lab tools such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, etc.\nJob Location:\nParraid Headquarters is in Hollywood, Maryland, United States\nJob Type:\nFull-Time/Regular\nYears of Experience:\n7+ Years;
