We are headquartered in Hollywood, MD, with a great team, well-established product lines, and a growing client base.\nThe Telemetry Systems Field Engineer (All Sales Regions) is responsible for providing technical support and training for all Parraid telemetry products, systems, and associated components. This individual will travel to client sites providing engineering support to current and newly identified clients, working in conjunction with Parraid Telemetry Sales Lead(s) and Sales Manager.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist the Telemetry Sales Lead(s) in building relationships sufficient to penetrate and manage the customer base\nOrganize and lead specific training and product support engagements in the assigned market space\nTrain and advise clients in the architecture, installation, utilization, and operation of telemetry ground station equipment and auxiliary telemetry products related to the Parraid Telemetry Data Systems (e.g., airborne telemetry equipment from partners)\nProvide contextual support to clients regarding information technology (IT) systems that utilize Parraid Telemetry Data Systems products\nDiagnose problems in the field with telemetry product line hardware and software\nCoordinate maintenance and upkeep of demonstration / training units with the Parraid development team\nSubmit weekly forecasting, planning, tracking, and reporting to Sales Manager\nAnalyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, for use in future planning of product support activities\nAssist Sales Lead and Sales Manager in developing key account strategy planning\nAssist Sales Lead and Sales Manager in developing short and long-term strategic product support and warranty sales strategies and objectives for the assigned market space\nParticipate in strategic sales and client account development planning\nWorks towards Team as well corporate sales objectives and revenue goals\nAggregate customer feedback on market trends and participate in maintaining a strategic product line roadmap\nParticipate in relevant company and industry events\nSubstantial travel is to be expected\nSkills\nAbility to manage responsibilities independently and work remotely\nRely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals\nHigh energy level with keen business awareness, strong competitive drive, and excellent people skills\nExcellent listening skills as well as solid verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to create concise reports\nSome proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM software or related enterprise CRM tool is highly desirable\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)\nAbility to demonstrate / present systems and software to clients\nProficient with, and able to provide instruction of, the installation, operation, and employment of Parraid Telemetry Data Systems products\nProficiency with underlying mechanical and electrical principles, including installation and wiring techniques, is highly desirable\nDemonstrates knowledge of relevant telemetry standards and concepts.\nExcellent math and analytical skills\nAbility to stand on your feet for 8 hours and move at least 60 pounds\nExperience:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent electronics training in a military or civilian technical school\nMinimum of four years of experience with hands-on technical field support relevant to telemetry data systems\nJob Location:\nParraid headquarters is in Hollywood, Maryland, United States\nAbility to work from Parraid headquarters office is required\nSalary Range:\n$100,000 - $130,000\nBenefits\nEmployer shared medical, dental and vision insuranceNumerous voluntary benefits to choose from\n401(k) Plan\nPaid Leave\nEleven (11) paid holidays\nAwesome and rewarding culture\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.\n\nApplicants with disabilities may contact Human Resources to request and arrange accommodation.
