The role connects engineering, operations and business stakeholders so that releases are predictable, low-risk and well documented. \n\nKey Responsibilities \n\nRelease Planning & Coordination \n\nCoordinate and support software releases across development, QA, and infrastructure. \n\nMaintain release calendars and schedules, ensuring adherence to defined release processes. \n\nTrack release readiness activities and ensure all deployment prerequisites are completed. \n\nFacilitate release Go/No-Go meetings and communicate release status to stakeholders. \n\nSupport deployment activities during scheduled release windows and assist with issue escalation and resolution. \n\nChange Management \n\nCoordinate change requests and ensure compliance with organizational change management processes. \n\nReview and validate change documentation, implementation plans, rollback plans, and risk assessments. \n\nCollaborate with Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and stakeholders to ensure proper approval and scheduling of changes. \n\nMonitor change success rates and identify opportunities for process improvements. \n\nMetrics & Data Analytics \n\nAssist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting release and change management metrics. \n\nMaintain dashboards and reports to measure: \n\nRelease success rates \n\nDeployment frequency \n\nMean Time to Recovery (MTTR) \n\nRelease-related incidents \n\nRelease schedule adherence \n\nIdentify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities using data-driven insights. \n\nPresent release metrics and operational performance reports to the release management team. \n\nAgile Delivery Support \n\nCollaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and technical teams to support Agile release planning. \n\nParticipate in Program Increment (PI) Planning . \n\nTrack dependencies, risks, and impediments affecting release schedules. \n\nCommunication & Stakeholder Management \n\nCoordinate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the release lifecycle. \n\nMaintain release documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures. \n\nRequired Qualifications \n\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. \n\n2-3 years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, Project Coordination, Software Delivery, or a related technology role. \n\nExperience supporting software releases in Agile or hybrid delivery environments. \n\nExperience with release support, deployment coordination, and production readiness activities. \n\nExperience analyzing metrics, reporting, and data analytics. \n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \n\nProven professional experience with the following release tools: \n\nJira \n\nGitHub \n\nJenkins \n\nPreferred Qualifications \n\nExperience with: \n\nKargo \n\nSpacelift \n\nServiceNow Change Management \n\nConfluence \n\nExperience building or maintaining custom metrics dashboards using Claude or other AI tooling \n\nExperience supporting enterprise-level release management processes. \n\nCertifications (Suggested) \n\nOne or more of the following certifications are highly desirable: \n\nSAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) \n\nSAFe® Agile Certification \n\nCertified Agile Project Management Certification \n\nAgile Change Management Certification \n\nITIL Foundation Certification
