In this role you will get toFollow approved technical procedures and operational checklists to maintain mission safety and system readiness\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform real-time satellite payload contacts as a console operator; configure, test, and control command and control ground equipment during pre-pass, pass, and post-pass activities.\nSupport system readiness and mission planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation throughout payload on-orbit operations and end-of-life retirement and disposal.\nPerform task scheduling, data trending, performance analysis, real-time operations tracking, and LCRD payload anomaly resolution.· Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining standard operating procedures, on-console handbooks, support plans, Operations Directives, and test plans.\nResolve real-time operational conflicts to optimize acquisition, tracking, commanding, control, and telemetry data acquisition for multiple operational customers.· \nImplement anomaly response plans during critical events; participate in tiger teams, propose and evaluate recovery actions, implement approved solutions, and prepare anomaly reports.\nContinuously evaluate spacecraft, payload, and ground-system status for compliance with established mission and safety requirements.\nProvide occasional 24/7 mission support and work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime as scheduled.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.\nU.S. citizenship, with proof of citizenship, and the ability to maintain access to the government worksite.· \nBachelor's or associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.\n2+ years of direct satellite operations experience or equivalent military operations experience in command and control, intelligence, or operations management. \nAbility to work on-site at the White Sands Complex in Las Cruces, New Mexico; remote work is not available.· \nAbility to support occasional 24/7 operations and work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime on a rotational basis.\nDemonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to strictly follow technical procedures, operational checklists, and emergency contingency plans.\nAbility to work as an effective, dependable team member in mission-critical environment's.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information and status clearly under time-sensitive conditions.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance.\n5+ years of dedicated experience in space/satellite operations and/or complex military operations.\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience operating satellite ground systems, telemetry architectures, or satellite tracking networks.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
