In this role you will get to Under general direction of a licensed Architect, performs moderately-difficult architectural or interior design assignments requiring a working knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques. Compiles data, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings and/or models. The incumbent at this level has increasing proficiency in the utilization of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and company procedures.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nProduces CAD/BIM drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards for specific architectural or interior design tasks from general design information in accordance with established standards, procedures, and client requirements. \nUtilizes technical manuals to ensure compliance with required codes and standards. \nCompiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings and design layouts. \nProduces drawings and specifications that have been red-lined by others. \nResearches and develops design and product solutions and presents them for consideration. \nInspects architectural or interior design features on project sites and records conditions. \nInterfaces with other project team members to set goals and meet shared deadlines.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in architectural from an accredited university.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in large-scale projects including having overall responsibility for architectural engineering on large-scale projects.\nKnowledge of architectural design ( ID ), production techniques, codes and standards, building materials, and construction methods.\nExpertise must have been gained from working for reputed firms.\nKnowledge of precedents in the specialty area and knowledge of principles and practices of related engineering design methods and systems.\nKnowledge of the building industry, regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to architectural work.\nExcellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated leadership skills.\nKnowledge of international procedures, design guides, automated and administrative practices.\nKnowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
