Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talentedAssistant Project Manager to join our team!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nServe as representative for the assigned task with responsibilities for all phases of the project.\nEnsure all required tasks are performed on time and within budget.\nEngage specifically in planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff.\nManage stakeholder relationships.\nDevelop project scopes, prepare reports, develop, and maintain schedules and budgets, and ensure quality reviews are complete;\nIdentify scheduling, cost variances, and make recommendations for corrective action for negative variances.\nResolve issues with contractors in a timely manner and ensure that all aspects of the task order remain on schedule and within budget.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or related field;\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in transit and transportation projects.\nMinimum of three (3) years working on a multiple task order contract.\nSuccessful completion of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction Course.\nKnowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of project management, to coordinate, review and provide expert technical management for the assigned task orders.\nKnowledge of project controls, including critical path method scheduling and budgetary control systems.\nAbility to independently organize and carry out assignments with minimum direction as well as ability to function effectively as a leader of highly professional personnel.\nAbility to communicate effectively.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
