Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nAssistant Resident Engineer (Civil - Infrastructure)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil - Infrastructure) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role you will supervise day-to-day delivery of roads and multi-utility infrastructure works, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality execution.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nReport to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising construction of roads and infrastructure works and associated items.\nAct in place of the Resident Engineer when required and coordinate activities with other engineers and the supervision team.\nReview shop drawings, method statements, design proposals, and correspondence related to utilities/infrastructure works; draft responses for RE review.\nCoordinate with design engineers to resolve technical issues and site queries.\nCoordinate with contractor engineers on scheduling and resource deployment; support progress measurement and reporting.\nDirect and monitor inspectors and surveyors as applicable; maintain daily diaries and ensure record completeness.\nChair coordination meetings with service authorities, contractors, and stakeholders; support issuance of site instructions as required.\nSupport HSE implementation and ensure safety goals are achieved on site.\nVerify measured works and maintain accurate as-built records; support utility handover and final clearances.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.\nMinimum 8 years experience in construction supervision/delivery of infrastructure and utilities works, with prior experience working as ARE-Civil.\nStrong background across utilities/infrastructure including roads, stormwater, potable water and telecommunications.\nStrong technical capability to review material submittals, technical/lab reports, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.\nSound knowledge of contractual relationships, strong documentation discipline, and full computer literacy for reporting and records.\nStrong Communication & Reporting Skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nStrong knowledge of QA specifications and statistical quality control practices.\nExtensive experience across wet and dry utilities and multi-utility interface management.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
