Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer - Infrastructure/Stormwater to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to assigned works.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerforms well-defined field engineering assignments primarily involving constructability reviews and the observation of work in progress\nMaintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards\nAssists construction personnel with general technical details\nProvides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline; coordinates application of solutions\nEstablishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff\nMonitors discipline construction schedules and assists in progress appraisal\nProvides schedule and progress appraisal data to the Resident Engineer\nMonitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline\nEnsures that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.\nEnsures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards\nMaintains a daily log for permanent record of project construction, as well as discipline data for the final project turnover and report.\nReview Contractor’s submissions.\nSupervise site inspection staff\nPrepare progress report\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.\nMinimum of 5 years of overall experience in infrastructure/stormwater projects in Abu Dhabi..\nProven track record in supervising all aspects of road and general infrastructure projects\nProficient in computer applications for data access, record management, report generation, and relevant engineering/construction software.\nStrong command of English, both written and spoken, with excellent technical writing and communication skills.\nSolid understanding of engineering and construction processes, as well as industry standards and best practices.\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nMust have a good knowledge about contractual relationships.\nMust be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.\nMust be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.\nKeep necessary records and as-built records and take charge of the handing over of the utility works to the respective service authorities and assist the contractor to obtain necessary.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.\nWe truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
