Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nBIM/CAD Technician (Roads)\nDubai, UAE\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technician (Roads) to join our team! In this role you will get to perform basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nWork closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes, and to ensure timely implementation and completion\n\nWorks with BIM lead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion\n\nUnderstand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start up to project completion\n\nReview each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process\n\nGood knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families\n\nStrong knowledge in LOD requirements\n\nCollaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks\n\nGood knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report\n\nAble to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model\n\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nDiploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.\n\nMinimum 5+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in roads, highways, road signs & marking,traffic study.\n\nSoftware experience required: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil 3D & Navisworks aremust.\n\nCommon Data Environment: ProjectWise & BIM360.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nGood knowledge in BIM, understand LOD requirements and BIM processes.\n\nAbility to communicate clearly in English.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
