This role is ideal for a highly skilled technical professional with deep expertise inBMS platforms, building automation, Windows server environments, networking, and system troubleshooting. Candidates must currently reside in California\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining system performance, improving reliability, supporting security initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors across complex facilities and enterprise environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor, control, and optimize building systems using automatedBMS platforms to ensure operational efficiency and occupant comfort\nProvide advanced technical support forbuilding automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, battery, and power management systems\nSupport large-scaleMicrosoft Windows Server environments\nCollaborate with Project Managers and application subject matter experts to validate system builds and deployments\nDevelop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts usingPowerShell\nPerform advanced troubleshooting ofWindows operating systems, including registries, permissions, services, and system performance\nApply strong knowledge ofnetworking and TCP/IP protocols such as DNS, ICMP, SMB, and SSL/TLS during setup and issue resolution\nSupport planning and deployment of operating system and infrastructure-related projects\nPerformsecurity patching for Microsoft Windows systems and work with stakeholders to resolve compatibility issues\nCoordinate with third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system-specific technical issues\nLead or supportOperational Technology internal audit activities\nPartner withIT Support and other cross-functional teams to maintain secure and reliable operations\nHelp design and implement scalable technical solutions that support business and operational requirements\nManage multiple support issues, system improvements, and technical priorities in a fast-paced environment\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience\nMinimum of7 years of related experience inBMS, building automation, operational technology, IT infrastructure, engineering systems, or similar technical environments\n Extensive hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) is required\nMust currentlyreside in California\nStrong experience supportingMicrosoft Windows operating systems and server infrastructure\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across facility and IT environments\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with technical teams, project stakeholders, and vendors\nCommitment to ongoing professional development in IT, OT, and cybersecurity\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong proficiency inBMS software and building automation troubleshooting\nExperience supportingautomated HVAC, lighting, battery, and power management systems\nBACnet certifications such as BC, AAC, ASC, or AWS\nCCNA orCompTIA Network+ certification\nISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity training\nExperience withMS SQL and other database technologies\nStrong knowledge offirewalls, managed switches, and structured cabling\nExperience developing technical solutions for operational and business needs\nStrong project coordination or project management skills\nExperience supportingbuilding automation, facility systems, or operational technology in a large or complex enterprise environment\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple requests, incidents, and improvement efforts effectively\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
