Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented C-UxS Test Engineer to join our team! In this role you get to design, conduct, analyze and report on Counter-Unmanned Systems performance test and evaluation.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDesign test plans to evaluate various C-UxS technologies to include radio frequency devices, electro-optical/infrared cameras, user interfaces, networks, and software integrations.\n\nSupport the development of front-end and back-end software.\n\nWork in a fast pace environment supporting traditional and Agile project.\n\nDevelop concepts to test and verify systems specifications and provide a strong written narrative to support technical analysis.\n\nDraft test documentation for testing and evaluation\n\nConducts general test support to include test set-up and tear-down.\n\nSafely fly/operate small drones.\n\nExecute tests on a wide range of technologies at multiple locations across the U.S.\n\nSupport the development of key metrics to support the programs solution development team.\n\nResponsible for target placement, target configuration, and target operator instructions and guidance\n\nBrief executive leaders on findings and recommendations\n\nWrite and provide test reports to multiple levels of leadership throughout the government.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Mathematics/Statistics, or Engineering with 5+ years of experience is required OR more than 5+ years of experience conducting data analytics on a daily basis\n\nExperience with Python, JavaScript, and Linux\n\nExperience with test design and reporting\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nKnowledge of test methods and methodologies\n\nAbility to work collaboratively to solve problems within a cross-functional team.\n\nKnowledge of systems engineering processes\n\nExperience effectively and professionally communicating technical and program related information to multiple stakeholders and adherence to established communications plans.\n\nCandidate must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in dynamic, politically sensitive environments ensuring customer expectations are managed.\n\nMust have a minimum of a SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain one.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nBasic mechanical understanding; experience working with tools.\n\nExperience with Radio Frequency (RF) transmission, detection, and deterrence equipment and techniques desired.\n\nExperience with C-UxS operation & capabilities; and command, control, and guidance systems desired.\n\nExperience testing Counter-Unmanned Systems.\n\nThe position requires daily interface with customers at numerous levels. Candidate must possess and use a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills in daily interactions with team members, clients, vendors, and end-users.\n\nExperience flying both rotary and fixed wing Group 1-2 C-UxS\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nA security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
