In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining engineering drawings and CAD documentation for roads, drainage, utilities, and associated infrastructure works. You will support the engineering and construction supervision teams by ensuring that drawings and related documentation are accurate, coordinated, and maintained in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPreparing, revising, and maintaining CAD drawings and technical documentation for roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects.\nUpdating engineering drawings based on approved revisions, site changes, and project requirements.\nAssisting engineers and project teams in the preparation of plans, profiles, cross-sections, details, and other technical drawings.\nEnsuring drawings are prepared in accordance with project standards, drafting procedures, and applicable engineering requirements.\nCoordinating with engineers, surveyors, inspectors, and other project team members to incorporate design updates and field information into project drawings.\nReviewing drawings for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.\nMaintaining drawing registers and ensuring proper version control of project drawings and records.\nSupporting the preparation and review of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.\nAssisting with the organization and management of electronic drawing files and CAD databases.\nEnsuring drawing deliverables are issued in a timely manner and in accordance with project schedules.\nSupporting document control and project administration processes related to technical drawings and records.\nParticipating in coordination meetings and providing technical drafting support as required.\nMaintaining compliance with project quality procedures and document management requirements.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nDiploma from a recognized institution.\n5 years of experience in CAD drafting and technical drawing preparation for construction or infrastructure projects, including 3 years in a similar role.\nExperience preparing and updating engineering drawings related to roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure works.\nProficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.\nStrong understanding of engineering drawing practices, drafting standards, and technical documentation requirements.\nExperience managing drawing revisions, updates, and document control requirements.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy and quality.\nGood communication and coordination skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to organize and maintain electronic drawing files and project records.\nAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team environment.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nExperience supporting major roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects in Qatar or the GCC region.\nFamiliarity with local authority drafting requirements and engineering standards.\nExperience working on large-scale infrastructure construction supervision projects.\nKnowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, BIM platforms, or other engineering design and drafting software.\nExperience preparing and validating as-built drawings and handover documentation.\nFamiliarity with document management systems and electronic drawing management platforms.\nExperience coordinating with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and project stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple drawing packages and deliverables in a fast-paced project environment.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
