In this role, you will support engineering and construction teams by producing accurate technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring all work complies with project requirements and design standards.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPreparing detailed and accurate drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.\nSupporting engineering teams by converting conceptual designs and sketches into technical drawings.\nReviewing and modifying existing drawings to reflect design changes and project updates.\nCoordinating with site teams to ensure that drawings align with actual site conditions and construction progress.\nEnsuring all drawings are prepared in accordance with client standards and project specifications.\nMaintaining organized drawing records and ensuring updated versions are readily available.\nAssisting in the preparation of construction documentation, layouts, and as-built drawings.\nCollaborating with various engineering disciplines to produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nDiploma from an accredited institution.\n10 years of demonstrable experience in drafting for construction projects.\nAt least 5 years of experience working on environment firm construction sites, with a strong understanding of site practices.\nProficient in using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design tools.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent oral and written communication skills.\nStrong computer skills and the ability to work with various design software applications.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing preparation.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.\nExcellent organizational and documentation skills.\nA proactive and solution-oriented mindset when faced with design or technical challenges.\nExperience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
