Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is currently looking for aCBA - Custodian I to join our team in Faro, YT.Reporting to the Facilities Manager/Senior housekeeper, the successful candidate willbe responsible forthe weekly cleaning of “Parsons Staff/Management Accommodations” in Faro, YT.\nThis is a part-timeposition.\nLocal candidates preferred as this position will require working part-time hours on a weekly basis in Faro, YT.\nThis position includes membership in the United Steelworkers Local 925. The hourly wage for this position is $26.38.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nGeneral cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sweeping.\n\nHallways vacuumed daily(suites).\n\nEnsure kitchen area is neat, tidy, and sanitized after check-out.\n\nGarbage is taken outdaily(suites).\n\nEnsuring building front entrance is clean and garbagetakenout(suites).\n\nWeekly collection of recyclable bottles on each floor/house.\n\nDusting window ledges and baseboards.\n\nWeekly linen changes.\n\nWeekly towel changes.\n\nAll dirty linen washed, folded, and put away in linen closet.\n\nKeeping housekeeping carts clean and organized.\n\nSanitize washroom, including shower/tub, sink, mirrors, and floors.\n\nDaily organization and cleanliness of building laundry facilities.\n\nReporting any safety issues to Facilities Management.\n\nReport needed cleaning andtoiletriessupplies.\n\nMust be available to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nTraining/Able to perform allrequiredonsite andoffsite custodial duties.\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\n3+ years of experience\n\nMust be able to stand forlong periodof time\n\nAbility tolift upto 20 kg\n\nValid class 5 driver’s license\n\nProven ability to concentrate, pay attention to detail, organize, priority set and be a team player\n\nProven understanding of safe work practices and mitigating risk\n\nAbility to work with little supervision and function in a multidiscipline environment\n\nThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
