Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nJob Posting\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cloud Systems Engineers to join our team!\nIn this role you will design and deploy AWS based cloud infrastructure globally.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAssist in the design, implementation, and integration of systems under the guidance of senior engineers.\n\nContribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability.\n\nPerform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure system specifications are met.\n\nDevelop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.\n\nConduct regular system audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.\n\nProvide technical support and guidance to other team members.\n\nEnsure systems are designed and maintained following best practices and regulatory requirements.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.\n\nStay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to current systems.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring All Levels:\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance\n\nBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.\n\n7-14 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.\n\nStrong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.\n\nExperience with system modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.\n\nExperience with AWS and Terraform for cloud solutions.\n\nExperience with Java.\n\nExperience integrating external hardware data into internal workflows using MongoDB.\n\nExperience integrating external database data into internal workflows using MongoDB.\n\n30-40% international travel required.\n\nMust possess an active passport or be able to obtain one immediately upon hire.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nProficiency in various programming and scripting languages is a plus.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
