Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nConstruction Manager - Infrastructure\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nOversee establishment of the Construction Management Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. \nProcurement - Prepare purchase requisitions and procure items necessary for the operation of the field office. \nEstablish procedures for the administration of all field vehicles and equipment; maintain necessary status logs and reports. \nCoordinate the drafting of requisitions, subcontract scopes of work, amendments, and task orders. \nReview and approve subcontractor safety plans and quality control plans. \nEnsure the subcontract files are maintained with current insurance certificates and correspondence. Monitor subcontractor expenses versus budget. Prepare draft amendments. \nEnsure the prime contract file is maintained current with insurance certificates and correspondence. \nPrepares and negotiates changes to the scope of work with the project manager and key PMC members. \nWorks to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes. \nThe Construction Manager is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders. \nCost Engineering - Supervise the preparation of the client's monthly construction progress report and the client's contract status report. \nPrepare WBS, budgets and forecasts.\nPrepare monthly safety self assessment. \nAccounting - Supervise development of the monthly Parsons invoices; review for accuracy. Review and approve subcontractor invoices. \nPrepare quarterly construction management reports and coordinate meetings. \nQuality - Establish the QA/QC Plan including development of the inspection & test plan. \nSupervise setup and accreditation of the onsite materials testing laboratory. \nSafety - Establish safety and emergency procedures. Inspect the construction site weekly with the contractor's safety representative. \nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering fron an accredited University.\nMinimum 10+ years of construction management of general infrastructure projects within UAE/Abu Dhabi.\nPrior experience in overseeing and managing the construction of infrastructure projects.\nEvidence of good potential growth shown by satisfactory performance in past positions.\nEffective oral and written communication skills. Computer literate.\nProficiency in applying advanced construction management techniques and the ability to plan, organize and supervise the construction administration work of one or more construction projects.
