Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nProject Director - Infrastructure ( Roads and Utilities)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nWe are supporting a leading master developer in the UAE in the appointment of a Project Director to lead the delivery of major infrastructure works, with a strong focus on roads and utilities, within large-scale construction programs.\nThe Project Director will oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nAct as the primary representative with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities\n\nLead the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on roads, utilities, and associated works\n\nOversee project execution plans, including health & safety, quality assurance/control, and risk management frameworks\n\nManage and direct multidisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance\n\nMonitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and KPIs to ensure successful delivery\n\nIdentify and mitigate risks, delays, and cost overruns through proactive planning and corrective actions\n\nLead commercial discussions, including scope changes, claims, and variations\n\nEnsure full compliance with local regulations, standards, and client requirements\n\nProvide regular reporting to senior stakeholders on project status, key milestones, and critical issues\n\nSupport stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships with all project parties\n\nDrive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices across project delivery\n\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline\n\nMinimum 20+ years of experience in infrastructure project delivery, with a strong emphasis on construction\n\nProven track record delivering large-scale roads and utilities projects.\n\nExtensive experience managing large, multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams\n\nMandatory Middle East experience.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of infrastructure standards and regulations.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nProfessional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is an advantage\n\nExperience working with major developers or government entities in the UAE\n\nStrong familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities, approval processes, and regulatory frameworks\n\nExperience in PMC, client-side, or developer-side roles\n\nStrategic mindset with the ability to align project delivery with broader business objectives\n\nProven ability to drive performance, accountability, and team development in large organization\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
