Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is seeking a Construction Scheduler/Project Controller to support capital, maintenance, and infrastructure planning and scheduling for constructionprojects in the Parsons Portfolio.\nYou will play a key rolein developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, along with supporting cost tracking and reporting to ensure successful project execution.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDevelop, maintain, and update project schedules inPrimavera P6 andMicrosoft Project across a large scale portfolio.\n\nCollaborate with project managers and operations staff to establish baselines, milestones, and critical paths, schedule logic,milestones, and resource loading.\n\nMonitor project progress and provide regular updates, variance analysis, and schedule impact assessments.\n\nPrepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate schedule performance to leadership and clients.\n\nIdentify potential risks and delays, propose recovery plans, and support proactive problem-solving.\n\nMaintain historical schedule data for use in forecasting and future project planning.\n\nSupport resource loading and allocation within the schedule to align manpower and equipment with project needs.\n\nMonitor schedule performance and recommend corrective actions\n\nCollect, interpret, and report schedule and cost dataand utilize scheduling andprojectcontrols tools for cost and schedule analysis\n\nPrepare routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and performance metrics\n\nSupport initiatives that improve project delivery and performance\n\nRecommend enhancements to scheduling accuracy and efficiency\n\nSupport improvements to project control process tools and reporting practices.\n\nThis position is Hybrid and requires 1 day a week on-site in Kingsport for site inspection.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nMust be a US Citizen\n\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field; 4 addition years of relevant experience will substitute for a degree.\n\n5+ years of experience inscheduling forconstruction projects or federal contracting operations.\n\nProficiency inPrimavera P6 and Microsoft Project\n\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controls.\n\nExperience supporting utility, construction, or infrastructure projects preferred\n\nStrong understanding of scheduling logic, resource planning, and cost integration\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nExperience project scheduling for large scale Federal or DoD construction projects\n\nFormer Military Construction/Engineering experience a plus\n\nExperience performing 14-point schedule assessment or similar schedule quality reviews\n\nPSP, PMI-SP or PMP certification\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
