In this role you will get to manage and administer contracts on major roads and infrastructure projects, ensuring that all commercial and contractual aspects are properly controlled, documented, and delivered in line with project and client requirements.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAdminister pre- and post-contract activities for roads and infrastructure projects, including contract review, interpretation, and implementation in coordination with project and commercial teams.\n\nPrepare and manage contractual correspondence-such as notices, claims, variations, and EOT submissions-ensuring accuracy, compliance with contract conditions, and adherence to required timelines.\n\nEvaluate, analyze, and support negotiation of contractor and consultant variations, claims, and change orders, including preparation of detailed commercial and technical assessments.\n\nMonitor contract performance, commercial risks, and key obligations (bonds, insurances, warranties, milestones), maintaining up-to-date contract registers and compliance tracking systems.\n\nAssist in preparing and reviewing tender documents, scopes of work, special conditions, and procurement packages for contractors and suppliers.\n\nCoordinate with engineering, planning, cost control, and site supervision teams to gather and validate data for contract administration, claims substantiation, and dispute avoidance.\n\nProvide contractual and commercial advice to project teams regarding contract interpretation, risk allocation, compliance requirements, and alignment with company and client policies.\n\nDraft clear, accurate contractual and commercial letters, supported by thorough document analysis and coordination with relevant departments.\n\nMaintain and update correspondence logs, internal registers, and tracking tools to ensure proper documentation, traceability, and identification of potential claims or contractual issues.\n\nSupport the preparation of claims and related documentation on behalf of the Engineer, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with contractual procedures.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.\n\nMinimum 12 years’ experience in large infrastructure projects.\n\nExperience in roads and infrastructure projects will be an advantage.\n\nConsultancy experience will be given preference.\n\nKnowledge of pre and post contract administration.\n\nGood oral and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
