Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nAs a Cybersecurity Engineer at Parsons, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust security solutions for mission-critical systems supporting the Department of War and United States Army.You’llbe part of a diverse team of 500 professionals working in Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, advancing Army modernization and national defense through a variety of initiatives spanning 5 years and a total value of more than $600 million. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, proactive inidentifyingand mitigating cyber risks, and committed toleveragingemerging technologies to protect vital infrastructure and support the warfighter.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.\n\nImplement andmonitorsecurity controls, policies, and proceduresin accordance withorganizational and regulatory requirements.\n\nConduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.\n\nSupport the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation ofnew technologiesand security features.\n\nEnsure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.\n\nPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.\n\nStay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s toMaster’sdegree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.\n\nMust possess a minimum of 3-10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.\n\nActive Secret is required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\n\nProficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
