Job Description:
As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Parsons, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust security solutions for mission-critical systems supporting the Department of War and United States Army.You’llbe part of a diverse team of 500 professionals working in Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, advancing Army modernization and national defense through a variety of initiatives spanning 5 years and a total value of more than $600 million. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, proactive inidentifyingand mitigating cyber risks, and committed toleveragingemerging technologies to protect vital infrastructure and support the warfighter.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.
Implement andmonitorsecurity controls, policies, and proceduresin accordance withorganizational and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.
Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation ofnew technologiesand security features.
Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s toMaster’sdegree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.
Must possess a minimum of 3-10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.
Active TS/SCI is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Security Clearance Requirement:
