Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Joint Staff Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) team. In this role, you will architect and deliver scalable data solutions supporting Department of Defense mission objectives, enabling advanced analytics, AI, and operational decision support across Joint Staff Directorates.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDesign, build, and optimize data pipelines and architectures to support AI-enabled use cases and operational analytics for Joint Staff missions\nIntegrate disparate data sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and security in compliance with DoD standards\nCollaborate with data scientists, product managers, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions\nImplement and maintain ETL processes, data models, and data governance frameworks\nSupport deployment, monitoring, and sustainment of data platforms within secure DoD environments\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field\nMinimum 7 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics roles\nProficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages for data manipulation and pipeline development\nExperience with ETL processes, data modeling, and integrating complex data sources\nStrong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance in federal/DoD environments\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience with Palantir Foundry or Maven Smart Systems (MSS)\nProficiency in Power Platform or Power Apps for data-driven applications and workflow automation\nFamiliarity with Qlik, Databricks, War Data Platform (WDP), or Advana\nExperience supporting operational DoD analytics and AI/ML initiatives\nAdvanced degree or certifications in data engineering, cloud, or analytics platforms\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
