Job Description:\nParsons is seeking an innovative Senior Data Scientist to join our Joint Staff Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) team. In this role, you will drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions to support Department of Defense mission objectives across Joint Staff Directorates.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDesign, develop, and operationalize predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics to solve mission-critical DoD use cases\nPerform data exploration, feature engineering, and statistical analysis using large, complex datasets from diverse sources\nCollaborate with data engineers, product managers, and mission stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions\nDeploy, monitor, and sustain AI/ML models in secure DoD environments, ensuring performance and compliance with DoD standards\nVisualize and communicate analytical results to senior leaders, supporting operational decision-making and strategic planning\nLead and mentor junior data scientists, fostering innovation and best practices in model development and analytics\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance at the time of hire\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles\nProficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for statistical analysis and model development\nExperience developing and deploying AI/ML models, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques\nStrong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance in federal/DoD environments\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Mission Support Systems (MSS), Qlik, Databricks, War Data Platform (WDP), or Advana\nProficiency with Power Platform or Power Apps for integrating analytics with decision workflows\nAdvanced visualization skills using tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI\nFamiliarity with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scalable model deployment\nExperience supporting operational DoD analytics, AI/ML, or data-driven mission applications\nAdvanced degree or certifications in data science, machine learning, or cloud analytics\nLeadership experience mentoring data science teams or managing analytics projects\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
