Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an exceptionally talented Document Controller to join our site-based construction supervision team on the prestigious Green Riyadh Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting irrigation installation works, monitoring quality and compliance, supporting construction activities, and ensuring that all irrigation systems are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nReport to the Resident Engineer/Construction Director and act as the lead surveyor for all site surveying and setting-out verification activities.\nSupervise and coordinate Parsons’ survey team and review the contractor’s survey work to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.\nVerify the control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates established by the contractor and ensure they are correctly related to the approved project datum and grid system.\nCheck and confirm the contractor’s setting-out for alignments, levels, coordinates, and dimensions for roads, utilities, structures, hardscape, landscape features, and other works.\nConduct independent spot checks and surveys to confirm that constructed works are in accordance with approved drawings and tolerances.\nReview and comment on the contractor’s survey reports, layout drawings, as-built surveys, and topographic surveys, ensuring consistency and completeness.\nIdentify and report any discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions, and support the supervision team in resolving setting-out issues.\nCoordinate survey activities with discipline engineers (roads, structures, wet and dry utilities, hardscape, landscape) to support interface and clash avoidance.\nMaintain and ensure proper use, calibration, and safekeeping of survey equipment (total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, laser instruments, etc.).\nManage and maintain an organized digital and hard-copy record of survey data, field notes, and as-built information for future reference and handover.\nSupport the verification of earthwork quantities, volumetric calculations, and measurement to assist the project’s commercial and quantity surveying teams.\nParticipate in progress and coordination meetings and provide survey-related inputs, constraints, and recommendations.\nEnsure all survey activities are carried out in accordance with HSE requirements, safe work practices, and Parsons quality procedures.\nAssist in the preparation and review of as-built drawings and final survey records for handover to the client and relevant authorities.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from a recognized institution.\nin land/engineering surveying on large-scale infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects, including at least several years in a senior or lead surveyor role.\nStrong proficiency in the use of modern survey instruments and software, including total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, and survey data processing tools.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring\nSolid understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, leveling, and construction setting-out for civil, structural, and landscape works.\nProven experience working in a site-based construction supervision environment, verifying contractor setting-out and as-built data.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and utility drawings and translate them into precise field layouts.\nStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and record-keeping, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.\nGood communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and contractors.\nExperience in KSA or the GCC region is preferred.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n Establish and/or maintain filing systems, schedules, and records; file correspondence, reports, bulletins; log reports, and correspondence.\nProcess contractor submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). You will also support and review contractor submittals for compliance with contract documents and logs responses.\nTo assist in providing technical and administrative review of construction documents to confirm design intent, RFIs, and submittals comparison, and coordination between projects.\nDevelop simple, clear, consistent file structures and implement controls to ensure that communication and work flow protocols are easily to follow.\n What Required Skills You'll Bring:\nMinimum 10+ years of related work experience, with at least 3+ years in document controls (or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience).\nWell versed in EDMS - Aconex software is preferred.\nMembership and/or certification in EMC (Enterprise Content Management) and/or ARMA (American Records Management Association) is preferred.\nKnowledgeable of document control work processes and utilization of electronic systems for document management, as well as corporate procedures related to document management.\nAbility to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and company policies and procedures are required.\nMust also possess a thorough knowledge of database concepts, project-related software, and the ability to train others in its use.\nKeys to your success will be your previous experience in providing document control on similar projects, your organizational skills and knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
