In this role, you will be responsible for managing, controlling, distributing, and maintaining project documentation to ensure that all project records, correspondence, drawings, reports, and technical documents are accurately recorded, tracked, and maintained in accordance with project procedures and document control requirements.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nManaging and maintaining the project document control system in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.\nReceiving, logging, distributing, tracking, and filing incoming and outgoing project correspondence, reports, drawings, technical submissions, and other project documentation.\nMaintaining accurate document registers, transmittal logs, correspondence logs, and document tracking records.\nEnsuring that all project documents are properly classified, archived, and stored for easy retrieval.\nControlling document revisions and ensuring that only current approved versions are distributed to project team members.\nCoordinating with Resident Engineers, Site Engineers, Inspectors, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders regarding document submissions and document control requirements.\nMonitoring document workflows and following up on outstanding submissions, approvals, and document reviews.\nMaintaining electronic and hardcopy filing systems for all project documentation.\nAssisting in the preparation and issuance of transmittals, document status reports, correspondence reports, and project records.\nSupporting project audits, reviews, and compliance assessments through the provision of controlled project documentation.\nEnsuring confidentiality, security, and integrity of project records and information.\nAssisting project teams with document retrieval, document searches, and records management activities.\nSupporting project close-out activities through the organization, verification, and archiving of project records and handover documentation.\nMaintaining compliance with project quality procedures, document management standards, and project requirements.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nDiploma in Business Administration, Document Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.\n10 years of document control experience, including 5 years in a similar role supporting construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environments.\nExperience managing engineering drawings, technical documents, correspondence, reports, and project records.\nStrong knowledge of document control procedures, record management practices, document numbering systems, and revision control processes.\nExperience maintaining document registers, transmittals, correspondence logs, and document tracking systems.\nExperience working with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and document control platforms such as Primavera.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of project documentation accurately and efficiently.\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to document accuracy and quality.\nStrong communication and coordination skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary project team environment.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive project information.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nExperience supporting major roads, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure projects in Qatar or the GCC region.\nExperience working on large-scale infrastructure construction supervision projects.\nKnowledge of project administration, document management standards, and records retention procedures.\nExperience coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.\nFamiliarity with quality management systems and document control requirements associated with construction projects.\nDemonstrated ability to manage high-volume documentation within a fast-paced project environment.\nExperience supporting project handover, close-out activities, and records archiving processes.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
