Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controls Manager to join our team!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nProvides technical guidance to lower-level staff assigned to the Document Control department.\nPrioritizes, assigns and monitors workload to ensure project deliverables meet schedule.\nEstablishes clear/concise work standards and goals for staff.\nProvides training and development, reviews work produced, completes performance evaluations, conducts employee counseling, and takes corrective action as necessary.\nResolves non-routine help desk issues and inquiries related to document controls (e.g., resolving access issues).\nProvides on-demand request services to the PM, delivery order managers, functional group leads, and staff. Some examples: (1) providing labor forecast reports to delivery order managers on anticipated document control support requirements; (2) creating/formatting customized electronic libraries in SharePoint for collaboration and document management.\nIdentifies and coordinates document control resources to support program team members, and serves as a liaison to client counterparts.\nAdministers and maintains mailbox traffic, electronic documentation, incoming record logs, project library, distribution lists, and permissions and security groups. Provides backup support to document control staff for processing daily incoming mailbox traffic. Maintains SharePoint libraries and the document control website. This includes the daily purging and archiving of process mail and help desk traffic from mailboxes.\nPerforms qualify checks by sampling processed incoming traffic and help desk inquiries for accuracy and adherence to procedures, etc.\nProvides document control orientation briefing and materials to new hires.\nProvides training and guidance to document control staff and program team members on use of software tools and resources. Conducts informal lunch-time training sessions on use of the program’s forms and templates.\nConducts goal plan review meetings with staff.\nEstablishes document control responsibilities for delivery order start-up, close-out, and prime contract close-out.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelors degree in any field. \nMinimum 20 years of related work experience with at least 10+ years as Document Controls Manager (or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.\nProven experience using an EDMS software.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
