In this role you will get to drive the successful execution of critical, complex, business-driven initiatives in projects at various phases of the project management lifecycle, thriving in a cross-functional environment while delivering high-quality outputs to solve hardware, software, and other project challenges.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform the role of remote pilot in command on various projects with other flight crew members.\nResolve technical problems by finding solutions such as utilizing scripts to address software-related deficiencies.\nAssemble, test, maintain, tune, and overhaul various drone systems to maintain operational capacity.\nWork with various drone-related software and hardware, including flight controllers, payloads, and post-processing programs.\nDevelop curriculum to train Parsons Pilots both in the field and online.\nStay updated with unmanned technology and remote sensing news.\nMaintain high-level quality assurance to ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, industry standards, and regulations.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, unmanned aviation, or another related STEM field.\nProficiency with coding and previous experience with unmanned aircraft.\nPart 107 Certificate, hands-on UAS experience, and experience with various flight controllers.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.\nAbility to work within a team and independently.\nWillingness to travel to site locations, up to 50%.\n What Desired Skills You'll Bring:\n0-3 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years without a bachelor's degree is preferred.\nProficiency with Python, C++, program writing, debugging, and modeling, including 3D modeling and additive manufacturing.\nKnowledge of Windows Office Systems, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nAbility to learn new software, prepare presentations, and demonstrate team and leadership skills.\nBackground in robotics, with specific experience in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) or similar competitive robotics programs\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
