Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons Corporation is seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrician with a strong background in electrical and systems installation to support sensitive government facilities overseas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with infrastructure installation, a deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and the ability to lead and manage a team of electricians to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform and oversee complex electrical installations on integrated security systems at sensitive government facilities, ensuring compliance with NEC codes and DS standards.\n\nWork closely with the Installation Manager to assign tasks, monitor progress, and optimize project timelines to meet or exceed deadlines.\n\nParticipate in design reviews with engineers, project managers, and estimators to ensure the electrical requirements are accurately defined and incorporated into the project plans.\n\nAnalyze and design the electrical infrastructure required to support the installation of electronic security equipment, considering both functionality and cost-effectiveness.\n\nReview and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other technical specifications to determine the most effective installation procedures.\n\nPlan and execute new or modified designs to minimize material waste, ensure ease of future maintenance, and reduce costs.\n\nComplete Bill of Materials (BOMs) and execute power/signal runs in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.\n\nConduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all electrical work meets government regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.\n\nMaintain clear and professional communication with clients, contractors, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nTravel internationally up to 75% of the time to support project requirements in various locations.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive Security Clearance\n\nValid Journeyman or Master Electrician license.\n\n10 years of relevant work experience, particularly in electronics/systems installation and infrastructure projects.\n\nStrong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and experience working in regulated environments.\n\nProven ability to lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to project schedules.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and design effective electrical solutions.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.\n\nWillingness to travel internationally and work in diverse and challenging environments.\n\nPreferred Experience:\nPrevious experience working on government projects, particularly in secure or classified environments.\n\nFamiliarity with international work environments and the unique challenges they present.\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOpportunities for professional growth and development.\n\nA dynamic and challenging work environment focused on innovation and excellence.\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
