In this role, you will provide customer support within an experienced technical team while analyzing embedded software, firmware, and electronic hardware. You will help characterize complex systems, solve challenging technical problems, and deliver solutions that support critical customer missions.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAnalyzing embedded systems software, firmware, and hardware to characterize complex systems and determine their functionality.\n\nWorking directly with customers and technical team members to understand mission requirements and develop effective solutions.\n\nReverse engineering embedded systems and solving challenging technical problems through creative, methodical analysis.\n\nUsing hardware and software analysis techniques to identify system behavior, interfaces, and functionality.\n\nDrafting clear, accurate technical reports describing system characteristics, including hardware, firmware, software, and communications functionality.\n\nCollaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and independently executing assigned technical tasks as required.\n\nRequired Clearance:\nMust be a U.S citizen.\n\nCandidate must have an active Secret Clearance and be willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and at least 5+ years of relevant experience.\n\nExperience with or understanding of embedded processor assembly languages, such as ARM and TI DSP assembly.\n\nExperience with reverse engineering and binary analysis tools, such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, radare2, and Binary Ninja.\n\nUnderstanding of serial data protocols, including SPI, I2C, UART, and related embedded communications interfaces.\n\nExperience analyzing or designing digital circuits.\n\nExperience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.\n\nStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently when required.\n\nMotivated self-starter with the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality results.\n\nExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers and team members.\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nExperience with or understanding of embedded operating systems and real-time operating systems.\n\nExperience performing embedded systems analysis, including hardware, firmware, software, and interface characterization.\n\nWorking knowledge of high-level programming languages, such as C, C++, and Python.\n\nExperience analyzing or designing analog circuits.\n\nExperience using JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other electronic test equipment.\n\nVirtualization and emulation experience using tools such as QEMU and Renode.\n\nFPGA development experience.\n\nExperience managing or leading technical teams and coordinating technical tasks across multiple contributors.\n\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
