Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a talented Emerging Threats Cyber Analyst to join our growing team!\nThis role is suited for candidates with prior experience performing cybersecurity threat analysis focused on new or evolving cyber threats including new tactics posed by Advanced Persistent Threats. In this role, you will conduct research and maintain an in-depth understanding of emerging cyber threats, contribute to detection strategies, and support a team of threat analysts with the common goal of eradicating vulnerabilities to critical U.S. systems.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\n Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph\nA Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of IT experience.\nSeven (7+) years’ experience working in the areas of intelligence, information security, network forensics, insider threat or security operations.\nLead OSINT research and current world event trends; correlate and translate vulnerabilities across supply chain, defense industrial base and other critical systems of interest.\nUse predictive modeling and conduct vulnerability assessments to assess threat impact to critical national systems of interest.\nMust have the ability to analyze data sets to translate knowledge, forecast threats and make recommendations to other analysts working in IC mission spaces.\nAbility to analyze, correlate, and synthesize threat data from diverse sources.\nAbility to work with development teams and articulate requirements/enhancements to capabilities and tools.\nDocument findings and create detailed reports to ensure tradecraft is continually updated. Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nMentor and guide other team analysts, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.\nAbility to understand data in various formats to extract and enrich information to enhance its value.\nExperience with XKS creating general queries, fingerprinting, and identifying atypical events.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP communication protocols and packet flows based on IP traffic; analysis of Packet Capture (PCAP) traffic in Wireshark\nFamiliarity writing signatures in Zeek and/or Snort.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
