Job Description:\nParsons is looking for a talented Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team in the UAE. .\nThe role will lead multidisciplinary engineering activities across rail systems, civil works, structures, utilities, stations, and associated infrastructure, with particular focus on signaling interfaces, technical coordination, design compliance, constructability, and successful project delivery.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nLead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for rail, infrastructure, and associated systems.\nManage design development, technical reviews, engineering deliverables, and design coordination.\nProvide technical oversight for rail systems, including signaling, track, power, telecommunications, stations, and civil infrastructure.\nCoordinate signaling interfaces with track, civil, traction power, communications, level crossings, control systems, and operations.\nReview drawings, calculations, specifications, technical submissions, method statements, and design changes.\nLead technical workshops, constructability reviews, interface meetings, and engineering risk assessments.\nEnsure designs comply with project requirements, railway standards, authority regulations, safety requirements, and applicable international standards.\nSupport resolution of RFIs, technical queries, nonconformances, design conflicts, and construction-related engineering issues.\nMonitor engineering progress, resources, technical risks, design changes, and impacts on cost and schedule.\nProvide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, systems integration, handover, and closeout.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Rail, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Systems, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 15 years of experience in rail, metro, railway infrastructure, or major transportation projects.\nProven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical deliverables.\nPractical experience with railway signaling systems, signaling interfaces, or rail systems integration.\nStrong knowledge of rail infrastructure, trackwork, stations, utilities, structures, and associated systems.\nExperience reviewing designs, technical specifications, calculations, shop drawings, and contractor submissions.\nKnowledge of railway standards, RAMS, systems assurance, safety requirements, and authority approvals.\nExperience managing design interfaces between signaling, civil, track, power, telecommunications, and operational systems.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring:\nExperience on metro, heavy rail, light rail, high-speed rail, or railway infrastructure projects.\nExperience with interlocking, train detection, point machines, level-crossing systems, automatic train protection, or train control systems.\nFamiliarity with CBTC, ETCS, ATP, ATS, interlocking, and signaling control systems.\nAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with Clients, end users, operators, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.\nDemonstrated commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.\nWe truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
