Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is seeking a Factory QA Inspector to join our Owner’s Advisor team supporting the Medical Enlisted Training Campus (METC) Recapitalization Program at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. This mission-critical initiative will deliver five modern dormitory facilities for up to 6,000 joint-service medical students and the associated infrastructure.\nWorking alongside government leaders, military stakeholders, designers, and contractors, you will help manage risk, protect the government’s interests, and support the successful delivery of a high-profile Progressive Design-Build program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark campus, advance innovative delivery methods, and help shape the future of large-scale Air Force infrastructure programs.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform owner-side surveillance of off-site manufactured components and modules before shipment to METC. \nAssignments will be allocated to confirmed plants, production lines, shifts, and inspection demand.\nReview production QC records and inspect work against approved fabrication documents and inspection/test plans.\nWitness first articles, concealed-work inspections, dimensional checks, and discipline-specific tests within qualifications.\nCheck structural connections, enclosure details, fire/smoke continuity, and MEP interfaces relevant to the assigned scope.\nMaintain module serial-number, material-lot, drawing-revision, inspection, and nonconformance traceability.\nIdentify repetitive defects and support containment, root-cause review, corrective-action verification, and trend reporting.\nVerify shipment-readiness evidence, preservation and packaging; report release recommendations through agreed authority.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of fabrication, modular construction, building inspection, or manufacturing QA/QC experience.\nAbility to interpret shop drawings, tolerances, material certificates, test records, and controlled manufacturing documentation.\nAbility to work at assigned plants, coordinate required inspection windows, travel as scheduled, and document findings objectively.\nAbility to obtain and maintain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston.\nAbility to communicate effectively, maintain accurate records, collaborate across disciplines, and handle project information in approved systems.\nAbility to maintain a one team mentality amongst all stakeholders.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nPermanent volumetric modular or prefabricated MEP experience and familiarity with factory/site scope interfaces.\nApplicable ICC, AWS, NICET, or other discipline-specific inspection credentials; supplier audit and corrective-action experience.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nNoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
