In this role, you will build modern user interfaces with React and TypeScript, develop scalable backend services using Java and Node.js, and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.\nYou will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, product owners, mission users, and operational stakeholders to deliver reliable, mission-focused capabilities in demanding operational environments.\nThis is a hybrid role based in Tampa, FL. The selected candidate must be local and able to report to the customer site as needed.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDesign, develop, integrate, test, and maintain full-stack software applications based on customer and mission requirements.\nBuild modern, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and related UI technologies.\nTranslate UI/UX designs and prototypes into functional web applications.\nDevelop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and related frameworks.\nDesign, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, and other web services.\nDevelop applications that interact with relational and NoSQL databases.\nContainerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nSupport application development and deployment across the full software development lifecycle.\nApply DevSecOps practices, including Git-based version control, peer code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery.\nTroubleshoot front-end, backend, API, database, and deployment issues.\nPerform root-cause analysis and implement improvements to application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.\nCollaborate with product owners, software engineers, developers, system administrators, cybersecurity professionals, and operational stakeholders.\nContribute to technical documentation, design reviews, coding standards, and software development processes.\nSupport the delivery of software for operational environments that may include limited-bandwidth or disconnected conditions.\nRequired Clearance:\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nMust have an active Secret Clearance. \nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline and 5+ years of related professional experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. \nProfessional experience developing production software with React and JavaScript-based technologies.\nExperience developing backend services using Java, Node.js, or both.\nExperience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.\nExperience designing, developing, integrating, or consuming RESTful APIs and web services.\nHands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a software development or deployment environment.\nExperience developing in Linux environments.\nExperience using Git for source control and collaborative software development.\nExperience working with relational databases, NoSQL databases, or both.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nAdvanced experience with TypeScript, reusable React components, UI libraries, and state-management solutions.\nExperience with Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.\nExperience with Maven, Gradle, or other Java build and dependency-management tools.\nExperience deploying applications to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud environments.\nExperience supporting DoD cloud, tactical, or operational environments.\nFamiliarity with disconnected, intermittent, and limited-bandwidth environments.\nExperience developing or maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with Keycloak, identity and access management, and role-based access control.\nFamiliarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including Security Technical Implementation Guides.\nExperience with messaging technologies such as JMS or Apache Kafka.\nExperience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar database technologies.\nFamiliarity with Tactical Assault Kit, WebTAK, TAK Server, tactical communications, or mission command systems.\nExperience working in Agile or other iterative software development environments.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Secret security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
