In this hybrid role, you will contribute across the full software development life cycle-from UI/UX design to back-end architecture, implementation, and verification testing-supporting mission-critical applications. You will help deliver scalable, secure, and elegant solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.\n**This position allows for a hybrid schedule and may require candidates to be local or be willing to travel to the Maryland, Northern Virginia, or DC Metro on a regular basis.**\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable front-end interfaces and back-end services.\nOptimize performance for both UI responsiveness and data processing workflows.\nImplement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.\nConduct peer code reviews and ensure unit, integration, and regression test coverage.\nCollaborate with UI/UX designers, system architects, program managers, and stakeholders.\nEnsure robust authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.\nApply Agile/SAFe methodologies and maintain clear documentation of codebases and processes.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nU.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or 4 years of additional experience in lieu) and a minimum of 8 years of experience\n6+ years of experience in software development with both front-end and back-end technologies.\nStrong programming skills in a few of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, and SQL.\nDevelop RESTful APIs and microservices using Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django) and other modern frameworks.\nExpertise in containerized application development and management. Preferably with a strong familiarity of Docker & Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing workloads within a cluster.\nProficiency with RESTful API design, data visualization, database architecture (SQL/NoSQL), and version control (Git).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible).\nExperience with front-end frameworks and responsive design principles.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IaC).\nStrong debugging and performance optimization skills for distributed systems.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nTS/SCI w/ Poly preferred\nExperience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS , or message-driven architectures.\nFamiliarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, and modern data service protocols.\nKnowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity best practices, encryption, and secure coding techniques\nFamiliarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).\nStrong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.\n Security Clearance Requirement:\nAn active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
