In this role you will get to lead and manage health, safety, and environmental programs while ensuring project activities comply with Parsons’ requirements, applicable regulations, and client standards.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nLead the administration and implementation of project and program health, safety, and environmental programs.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain site-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk management programs.\nEnsure project activities comply with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program management system.\nAudit projects, programs, and worksites against Parsons’ corporate standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.\nConduct routine and formal worksite inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and potential environmental risks.\nProvide technical guidance to project personnel to eliminate, reduce, and control HSE risks.\nPrepare and submit written audit, inspection, incident, and corrective action reports.\nMonitor project work planning and performance to verify compliance with approved HSE plans and procedures.\nLead the implementation of occupational injury, incident reporting, investigation, and management processes.\nReview incident reports, audit findings, and inspection results to identify trends and recurring risks.\nPrepare and submit regular HSE performance and trend analysis reports.\nSupport project managers with new-hire HSE orientations and onboarding activities.\nDevelop and deliver regulatory, safety, health, environmental, and best-practice HSE training.\nCreate, update, and maintain HSE training records and competency documentation.\nLead routine safe work briefings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and project HSE awareness campaigns.\nCoordinate with project personnel, clients, suppliers, safety organizations, and government authorities as required.\nProvide technical guidance and support to First Aid Attendants and project HSE personnel.\nPromote a positive HSE culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure corrective actions are properly assigned, tracked, closed, and documented.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nMust be a Saudi National.\nBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.\nMinimum of 7 to 10 years of related experience in health, safety, and environmental management.\nProven experience managing HSE programs on major construction, infrastructure, industrial, energy, transportation, or buildings projects.\nStrong knowledge of applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations and reporting requirements.\nWorking knowledge of safety-related national consensus standards, including ANSI and NFPA.\nStrong knowledge of workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, inspections, audits, and corrective action processes.\nAbility to develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans and procedures.\nAbility to prepare clear and accurate inspection, audit, incident, investigation, and trend analysis reports.\nAbility to lead HSE orientations, training sessions, toolbox talks, and safe work briefings.\nAbility to maintain accurate HSE, training, incident, and compliance records.\nStrong understanding of occupational safety practices, risk management principles, and workplace hazard controls.\nExceptional verbal, written, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with project managers, professional staff, field personnel, clients, suppliers, and regulatory organizations.\nAbility to lead HSE teams and provide direction, coaching, and technical support to project personnel.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management or incident reporting systems.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nProfessional HSE, safety, health, or environmental certification.\nExperience managing HSE teams on large-scale projects.\nExperience with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program or similar HSE management systems.\nExperience conducting formal HSE audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.\nExperience analyzing HSE performance trends and developing corrective action plans.\nExperience delivering regulatory and best-practice HSE training.\nKnowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, ISO 45001, and other applicable HSE standards.\nExperience working with government agencies, clients, suppliers, safety organizations, and regulatory authorities.\nFirst Aid, CPR, or emergency response certification.\nExperience implementing HSE performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.\nExperience managing emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity procedures.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
