The Infrastructure Design Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design and development of infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing timelines, and delivering high-quality designs that meet project requirements.\nWhat You'll be Doing:\nCoordinate infrastructure design activities across multiple teams and disciplines.\nEnsure design deliverables align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.\nAct as the primary point of contact between design teams, contractors, and clients.\nReview and approve infrastructure designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.\nProvide technical guidance and support to design teams.\nIdentify and resolve design-related issues during the project lifecycle.\nWork closely with engineers, architects, planners, and other stakeholders to develop integrated infrastructure solutions.\nFacilitate communication between internal and external teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.\nConduct quality checks on design documents and specifications.\nEnsure designs meet safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.\nPrepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design plans, progress reports, and compliance records.\nPresent updates and recommendations to senior management and clients.\nEnsure all designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.\nStay updated on changes in infrastructure design standards and codes.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.\n12 + years of relative experience in infrastructure design or project coordination.\nProven track record of managing design projects from concept to completion.\nStrong knowledge of infrastructure design principles, standards, and best practices.\nProficiency in software design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:\nMasters degree in a relevant field is preferable.\nProfessional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP, LEED).\nExperience in sustainable infrastructure design.\nFamiliarity with GIS tools and data analysis.\nFamiliar with ADQCC Standards\nProblem-solving and critical thinking.\nAdaptability and flexibility in dynamic project environments.\nClient and statutory authorities interfacing skills.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
