Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nLand Surveyor (Infrastructure)\nAbu Dhabi, UAE\nParsons is looking for a talented Land Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to perform works in the field as part of a survey crew performing various surveying activities.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nReview drawings and documents related to the works\nSupervision of works related to the Survey \nPerform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations. \nInterface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.\nComplete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.\nCheck setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.\nPrepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations). \nMeasure work done when required.\nObserve site safety procedures.\nAssist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.\nAct positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative.\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nCommitment to safe work practices.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nDiploma/ Associate degree in Land Surveying or equivalent.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in roads, bridges or infrastructure projects \nKnowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment. \nGood oral and written communication skills in English. \nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.\nWe truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
