Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Land Surveyor to join our team!\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nCheck the elevations, the setting out and rest of survey work by the contractor are required to ensure accuracy.\n\nAdvise the Resident Engineer and recommend actions concerning construction surveys.\n\nMaintain the construction surveys and quantity records as per the RE instructions.\n\nPerform the initial baseline and control surveys including establishment of bench marks and recovery of any existing survey monuments to be removed at the start of the project as directed by the RE.\n\nAttend the Contractor’s request for surveys, including the checking of the Contractor’s setting out of centerlines, structures, slope stakes, etc.\n\nCheck the field measurement surveys including original and final cross sections, check critical elevations, dimensions and locations of structural elements, earthwork grading, pavement and appurtenances, check the Contractor’s detailed survey in advance of construction operations, investigate and clarify survey discrepancies.\n\nParticipate in the format and standard procedures for calculation and documentation of quantities.\n\nInvolve in the calibration and checking of the survey instruments.\n\nEnsure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.\n\nEnsure quality goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of quality procedures on the road works.\n\nInvolve in the as-built review and finalization in coordination with RE’s, ARE, and inspectors.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nB. Sc. or Diploma in Survey/Civil Engineering (or equivalent).\n\nMinimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in land/highway surveying on major road, highway and general infrastructure projects preferably in the Gulf region.\n\nHe must possess the ability to read working drawings and related specifications, and capable of enforcing such specifications.\n\nPreferably residing /available in UAE.\n\nMust be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software i.e., AutoCAD and/or Microstation.\n\nGood written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
