Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nLand Surveyor\nDubai, UAE\nThrough Parsons’ engineering and construction management services, we deliver innovative, safe and sustainable infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. Our focus is on delivering air, rail, road and highway transportation; water conveyance and/or wastewater treatment; and land development and public infrastructure to our clients and your communities. Parsons creates interconnected communities and world class infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.\n\nInterface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.\n\nComplete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.\n\nCheck setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.\n\nPrepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations).\n\nMeasure work done when required.\n\nObserve site safety procedures.\n\nAssist in the preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings.\n\nAct positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative.\n\nPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\n\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:\nDiploma/Associate degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or equivalent.\n\nMinimum 10 years of experience in road works, bridges and infrastructure projects.\n\nKnowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment.\n\nWorking knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry.\n\nGood oral and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.\n\nCommitment to safe work practices.\n\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
