Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job Description:\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Logistics Manager to join our Facility Management team!\nThe Logistics Manager will oversee on-site logistics and field support activities for major projects, often involving multiple units and complex construction operations. This includes projects with more than 5 million construction manhours or a total installed cost exceeding $150 million. The role applies broad knowledge of construction disciplines, logistics methods, and installation techniques to support successful project execution.\nThe incumbent will be thoroughly familiar with contractual obligations, technical requirements, and operational needs associated with the facilities and infrastructure being delivered. In addition to logistics management, this position is responsible for field administration, procurement coordination, resource planning, and field support services. Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDirects the overall planning and execution of on-site logistics and field support activities, identifying critical milestones and priorities.\nDetermines budget estimates and staffing requirements aligned with the defined scope and schedule.\nEnsures subcontractor services, logistics resources, materials, transportation, and major equipment are available at the appropriate time to maximize efficiency and productivity.\nEstablishes assignments for site teams and supervisors, monitors progress and recommends corrective actions when required.\nConducts performance evaluations and recommends promotions and salary actions.\nManages the allocation of manpower, materials, lodging, transportation, and equipment to maintain schedules and meet budget objectives.\nAnticipates and resolves issues such as scope changes, schedule delays, resource constraints, and budget overruns.\nEnsures sound operational and logistics practices to maintain required quality standards at optimal cost.\nCoordinates site access, transportation, material movement, warehousing, equipment deployment, and other project logistics requirements.\nPrepares periodic progress reports and formal presentations for senior management and clients.\nEnsures effective implementation of Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations, safety requirements, and site regulations.\nActs as the primary point of contact with client representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities for logistics-related activities.\nMaintains strong client and community relations as required.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nWhat Desired Skills You’ll Bring\nBroad knowledge of construction-related logistics processes and industry best practices.\nDemonstrated managerial capability on complex construction or infrastructure projects.\nStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders in challenging site environments.\nKnowledge of transportation coordination, material handling, warehousing, equipment logistics, and site support operations.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.\nWhat Required Skills You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n10 years of experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects at domestic and/or international locations.\nProven experience managing logistics, facilities, procurement coordination, and site support operations on projects of comparable scale and complexity.\nExperience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, transportation providers, equipment resources, and field support teams.\nWillingness to relocate to project or construction site locations as required.\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
