In this role you will support the Senior Manager in assessing proposed localized power distribution networks and substation layouts to align with development schedules.\nWhat You'll Be Doing;\nAssist in developing construction sequencing details and coordinate with contractors to optimize layout paths for MV cabling, switchgears, and ring main units (RMUs).\n\nContribute scheduling data and track timeline adjustments across power project packages to support broader utility masterplan objectives.\n\nProvide key technical and metric inputs to assist early-stage cost estimation and budget tracking dashboards.\n\nMaintain detailed program trackers, actively identifying local timeline gaps or scheduling risks to coordinate resolution paths.\n\nTrack site execution progress and report physical alignment deviations back to the Senior Manager.\n\nCollaborate in preparing technical checklists and supporting documentation packets for Stage Gate approvals, with a primary focus on:\no Local distribution phasing schedules\no Subcontractor coordination trackers\no Interface and spatial utility clearance logs\n\nWhat You'll Bring;\nBachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Construction related discipline from an accredited college or university (Electrical Engineering preferred)\n10+ Years' experience in power utility delivery systems.\nExperience in design, construction planning, and coordination of localized power networks, medium voltage (MV) distribution cabling, and substation infrastructure.\nFamiliarity with standard municipal design guidelines and utility integration codes.\nProficiency in spatial scheduling, identifying interface clashes, and planning coordination software (GIS/ Primavera).\nParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
